's skyline is both iconic and always changing, with high-rise buildings continuously under construction to meet the ever-increasing demand to live in the bustling city.<br>Ambitious developers are lodging applications for innovative designs to follow the completion of the Shard, the Cheesegrater and other unique buildings in the capital in recent years.<br>It comes after the surprise rejection of The Tulip last year, a 'phallic-shaped' observation tower that would have soared over the City of London.<br>But other applications have had greater success, including the 260-metre Diamond building at 100 Leadenhall Street which is set to help form a 'mountain peak' formation of skyscrapers in the central cluster.<br>The 36-storey 50 Fenchurch Street will also add another dynamic to the central London skyline, including another public viewing platform providing views of the city.<br>         The London skyline will continue to grow with the construction of three developments at 55, 70 and 85 Gracechurch Street<br>         50 Fenchurch Street (pictured in green) will be located in the eastern City cluster, adding to the Walkie Talkie building and the Cheesegrater in recent years<br>         The buildings highlighted in yellow and blue in the Square Mile are either being proposed or are already under construction<br>Elsewhere, the redevelopment of the former Television Centre is nearing completion in White City and the expansion of Canary Wharf on the other side of the city continues to gather pace.<br>The London Tall Buildings Survey, published by New London Architecture, provides a detailed insight of the skyscrapers coming to the capital and how they will change the landscape forever.<br>MailOnline has taken a look at the projects taking place and the impact they will have on London. <br>216 Blackfriars Road<br>Height: 91m<br>Completion date: 2026<br>         The 22-storey office tower block redevelopment will see a pub moved to a new location and occupied by the Clothworkers Livery Company for almost 500 years. <br>It also includes two listed buildings, the Grade I-listed Tower of All Hallows Staining and the Grade II-listed Lambe's Chapel
